Need to look up some quick performance data during your next flight?
The Diamond DA20 is a fun, fast 2 place trainer used by many schools.
Various performance data have been entered into this program such as weight and balance, take off distance, landing distance, climb performance, and climb performance.
The general POH for the DA-20 C1 has been used with the SENSENICH PROPELLER.
As always, when in doubt or error, you should always refer to the official documentation supplied with your aircraft.
Version 1.1 (waiting to be pushed down to the APP Store servers) has the checklist as shown in screen shots to follow.
"I personally use several of the PunkStar Studio iPhone/iPod applications. Some, like the Cold Air Calculator, are incredibly useful for even the most advanced pilot, while others, like the Hold Pattern Calculator, are perfect for demonstrations with my students (who are thrilled when they see it for the first time). Im a loyal customer/user of several of the PunkStar Studio apps (even non-aviation related) and look forward to their future releases. I highly recommend their products to all aviators, from the professional airline pilot and flight instructor to the casual pilot."

POH DA20
WOW ! One big joke, too expensive !!!. Better use conventional methods. Not recommendable !!!. Money for nothing !!!.
Inaccurate and needs CoG #
There are some gross inaccuracies with the take off performance chart. Ex. 30C. 4000ft. 1500lbs. should be 1380ft ground roll and 1800ft over a 50ft obstacle. This POH says 1680ft. Despite waviers and warnings to use the actual POH, customers that buy a product like this expect to be able to perform quick, convenient, and above all; accurate performance calculations. In addition to fixing this, there needs to be clarifications as to what "Total Feet" means before someone gets hurt. Is this ground roll, or 50ft obstalcle distance? Most of the #s seem closer to the actual POH ground roll figures. There is only graphical center of gravity. The other POHs have an actual C of G # as well for the same price.
Needs Work
Good start but W&B is ? The max weight with sensenich prop is 1764 and Input for pilot and passenger is?
Graphics poor, not bad first attemp but lets hope their is an upgrade real soon

DA20 POH
Excellent source of info to quickly pull up while in the air. Currently a student pilot and this helps a lot for studying. Especially with the checklists. Anyone who "chair flies" at home or with a simulator or whatever, the checklists are very useful to go over, especially if you dont have a poh available to you. Great work with this app (and probably all pohs given for the ipod touch/iphone)
DA20 POH
Good interface, but data points such as weights, (there are only two weights - 1653 and 1500), altitudes (1000, 2000, etc) and temps (10, 20, 30 and 40). The software is just not detailed enough to be practical. Good idea, but it needs quite a bit more work.
